Some notes on my photos :
I enjoy taking photos, but I go the gigs and festivals
to see the bands and listen to the music not to take
photos. As such I use a very small camera (fuji F10) so
it does not get in the way.
I do not like to use a flash. In small venues it
disturbs the rest of the audience (and the bands). In
larger venues it just does not work (unless you carry a
massive flash gun around). I also want a picture of
what the band looks like on stage, under the stage
lighting, not flooded by boring white flash gun light.
I compensate for the small camera with no flash by
having a using a camera with a high sensitivity setting
(ISO1600) and by taking a lot of photo most of which I
throw away.
